got a cover today in appalling condition and can't remember if it was raoked to me or i bought it. would've been cheap if i did by it but man it's bad. pilled beyond recognition, velcro terrible. might as well chuck it so that is annoying

soBex did you get Bambi or Mel did you get it for your friend?

congrats Audax. it's a great feeling paying off your own place if not a little daunting

I missed out on anything in the firefly stocking, prob for the best as DH defs would have killed me!!

I have one of those just hatched nappies sooo cute dd only wore it twice before she outgtew it though as I didn't start cloth til 6 weeks.

I'd Have preferred a Velcro nappy for her rather than the side snap cover but still stoked

I got the peechee size 1 fairies nappy. Was pretty excited! My first peechee!!

    Yay a new thread!!

I still have to wash my disana covers! Thats my mission tomorrow! Hahaha...

Wocb: bitti boo and pul cover.
Not sure i am loving the boos. They are a really low rise and dd is short but i cant add any extra boosting to them cause otherwise they dont fit properly. might have to sell them on and stick with my gnsts and bbh fitteds. Its annoying cause the waist fits fine!

Mrs nerd burger: what ai2s do you have?

Q: Can I use canesten wash with pul or suede cloth lining?

I bought some because my babies arse is so sensitive, I can't use a single cloth nappy without her breaking out in a rash, so I want to thoroughly wash all my son's hand me downs before I let her even look at them.

    yep! mine have been getting canestened every couple of weeks... because they're not getting any sun they get that stale smell... don't like ><;

Just wondering if someone can PM me a link to somewhere that actually sells mircofibre liners? Preferably somewhere that doesn't charge the earth in post! I had a link to one place and the post was more than a metres worth of lining (like $10, which is just insane) and I want some to go with my prefolds!

Hey nerd-o, what pockets do you want? I have a Little Britches pocket that you would probably like, they're side-snap and OSFM. Very adjustable. Otherwise I have Bonnibuns, GKs and Monkey Doodlez, which you either wouldn'tlike or I wouldn't give up!

Bex - swap you a boo for a gnst? Our medium GNST is just not fitting, we prefer the GFs.

    WONB: Bamboozle and llamajama longies.

you mean microfleece right? i know you're not a n00b to cloth nappying. maybe you'll find some bargains in the up and coming nappy hunt?

I can't keep up with the thread now lol. We had a freaking nasty case of nappy rash on little dude's bum. barrier cream made it worse so i ended up tearing up a thin old tea towel (because all the flannels magically disappeared while i was in hospital) and cleaning his bum with msn cream as well as ladelling it on before i closed his nappy. DP used 1 disposable wipe yesterday and forgot the msn cream. the rash flared back up. damn reflux acid poo (and the fact he's so unsettled).

Loving the bbh covers on him and the maz ones of a night. they've stopped so many up the back poos

ETA: Helle, not going with the ct boosters as liners now? they work super awesome for liam.

    I have mainly widdlewuns.

I use canestan in every wash

Audax - is the osfm wide in the crotch? I find most osfm are (with the exception of dm's) so they don't work here.

Ooohhh I think I haven't been washing my nappies properly for the last nearly 3 years. Better give them a good wash.

I have greenkids pockets, nothing special, though. Just 3 of them. They haven't been used much.

Bex - hardly used. Less than 10 times. I bought it for SIL back in 2009, and then got it back and I'm pretty sure she only used it once. It is our last choice night nappy here. Medium wetter.

Nerd Burger - not as wide as most others, but I'll measure. It has snaps at the back to adjust the rise. So it's loooong.

kuraiza - I am interested in more GK pockets, if you wanted to do a swap. I don't need inserts, I make my own, so happy with or without.

Love the llamajamas longies. We only went through 4 fitteds today. And one for a poo.

Mel I have a Nenooh pocket. Light blue. It's a osfm tho. Similar outside shape as a pop in.

God I'm missing my cloth. Poor bubby has a few wee red spots. Including the top of his 'shaft' for lack of a better word
