I'm using bamboo flats which isn't much help if she's allergic to bamboo. They are lovely and soft though, I just use the kite fold.
Hmmmm crazylady, I have 6 bgs and they're all old and were used for my son, I have such a minimal collection of mcn due to lack of funds, so they've all got quite a workout. I bought Velcro to fix the tabs (if lilac will ever go to sleep again and let me sew) but maybe I should replace the elastic... It's not completely shot, it's still stretchy, but I don't have any new nappies to compare it with.
I want to buy some popins and maybe some grovia nappies.
Clover, I was planning on using flats but I have forgotten how to fold them. I also bought motherease bamboo Sandys, but lilac has this nappy rash just by looking at them, I'm wondering if she's allergic to bamboo.

Went to the bello markers, got a tie-dye onesie. So cute! AND some longies. Are they supposed to be woolen? It's says 100% handmade and painted and 100% cotton. Either way they are so cute!
It's not the bamboo she's allergic to, she's probably just sensitive to the wetness on her skin. It's the same here - we can't wear two natural inners in a row. So I just pop a microfleece liner on the top. I do that with everything now, it makes poo so much easier to clean up.
WONB: Bamboozle, microfleece liner and Totswrap
Microfleece is fantastic - it really does work.
WMM - don't talk to me about the markets lol i have a stall there and we got wiped out by that little mini cyclone, day from hell!!! glad you found something cute though
my medium babushka GF isn't a good fit at all and those inside snaps really dug into DD's leg.
I washed my naps with a pink bbh cover and it ran whoops so amdoing a strip wash on the bad naps and hoping the rest suns out. fingers crossed.
WOHB red tutto
ETA - do you all use liners every nappy?
Oh no! We were there during the nice patch. What stall? If I'd have known I could have said hi![]()
Oh and I had black run thru my naps from wipes but it all washed and sunned out after a few goes.
not sure if i'm allowed to say lol so i'll pm you
Tried to reply but your inbox if full![]()
just emptied it![]()
I use liners for every change at the moment, but I haven't always.
Crystal - what's your GF? Front snap or Side snap? What size? Maybe I can trade you for a different pretty...
Audax, it's a medium SS. Babushka emb and cotton panels on soft pink and white minky. it also has a flower emb. it is very cute. No stains. i'd be interested in a swap if you are..
So do you use liners to stop stains or to prevent nappy rash?
Oh yeah! AND my most favourite thing I did was in the bello opp shops, I found 4 pairs of corduroy trousers to unpick and up cycle! I will use them for rattles and softies I think! Plus I got 2 pairs of denim shorts to up cycle into something extra spesh![]()
I just ordered some with some cloth wipes I bought on eBay, from a lady who makes wipes, boosters and cuts out liners.
The main reason I got them was because I use cream on Jim, which you're not meant to use with MCN's particularly.
Anyway the first time I used one was overnight, and I noticed how dry he and the liner was, and yet the nappy was soaked. Then the next time I used one it might have been when he pooed, and I noticed how much easier it was to wash off.
I had a couple of boxes of paper liners but I haven't use them yet. I find the microfleece easier to store in my change table as well, and you only need a few of them.
You get to the markets wmm? They on this weekend
