She has a link in her signature and she sells them...
I prefer to try and support work at home mums!!!
The Itti Bitti Ultimate Wipes are fantastic. They are $2.25 each on their website. They are double sided velour, they look great (bright funky colours), feel great but best of all the grab all the yucky bits really well.
If you have an overlocker they are easy enough to make for yourself.
Deanne.
I went to spotlight and bought a pack of 10 washers for $5.
I made mine! If you have an overlocker then it's dead easy!
If you can't sew then Maz's wipes are fantastic and her prices are the best around![]()
Hey there!
For those who have made their own, how do you do it? My sister has an overlocker so she could probably show me how to use it.
But what fabric do you make them out of? How big should they be? Do you just cut the fabric into squares and then overlock the edges?
Thanks!

Mine are made of valour, two colours, back to back, cut to size, about the size of a face washer (20-30cm square), overlock together (rounded edges if you can, looks a bit better).
I love the valour, soft, funky and picks up all the mess! I also have just facewashers for when I am slack and run out of valour wipes, but valour is soooo much nicer and work better IMO!
ETA: I have also tried flannel and fleece, I threw them in the bin as personally I don't think the fleece grabs as well and the flannel just wipes the wetness over the bottom without absorbing.

I used hankies to wipe DD.
I also use johnson and johnson's disposible wipes. One a day. I rinse out the yukky perfume stuff before I use it and reuse it throughout the day. If it gets too dirty I throw it away.
I found them to be so soft and thin so its easy to use on DD.
I have found velour face cloths at Big W about $5 for a pack of 12, they're perfect! Thin and pick up all the poo!
Grab a metre of polarfleece from spotlight and cut it into squares - no sewing necessary.
Polarfleece stays soft, unlike face washers which can go a bit hard, especially after drying outside in the summer.
I agree hun
Polar fleece BLAH for wipes (my opinion) and flannel is more for just wee wipes. As fleece is 100% polyester it deosnt absorbe water and repells it, making it very hard to wipe a bottom with a 'wet' surface. I also find that it doesnt grip and take away funky stuff when needed.
I tend to stick to something that is more grabby...eg sherpa or unbrushed cotton fleece one side to get the funky stuff off with and then the other is flannel or quilters cotton for the last soft, finish and polish wipe
I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEE velour wipes aswell...noice
just come across this thread after doing a search, I was also interested in finding out which cloth wipes to use, so after reading this, I am going to go and buy some from Maz right now!
I use both facewashers and wipes. One for home, other for out... its nice to pull out pretty wipes when you are out.
To make at home you can use lots of things! Terry towling, cotton velour, flanellette, suedecloth, sherpa...
Just get 2 types of material, I like to go for the one side soft one side grippy rule, then overlock together![]()
