AliciaMrsH - fancy that, both due on the same day! We're twinnies! all the best to you too!

    KatieRabbit - I'm in Bateman

Teruteru - whats GDUNH?? I have ordered some actually, I got the Itti Bitti Trial Pack (on special for $39.95) and a trial pack from Baby Beehind (on special for $81, I think!). Was going to try some peapods too, but they seem to have some bad reviews so might not bother with them.

You are welcome to have a look at mine if you like. I have Greenkids, Pop-In, Itti Bitti, Baby Beehind Magicalls and bamboo fitted, Happy Heinys, Swaddlebee, Haute pockets, Bum Genius, Cushie Tushie (basix and couture)- just a couple of each. Can't remember any others! I just need some notice so that I can get them washed and dried! I am in Balga - about 10 mins from the city.

I felt the same as you before I bit the bullet so to speak. I found a lady in my area who did demonstrations, she also has a shop. I went into her shop and she let me try some out on DD and she also explained how to use the different types etc.

Is there someone in Perth who does demos? Maybe go onto some websites and see if they have stockist close to you.

FWIW - I love Ittis, Greenkids and I am trying out Pop-ins.

Its so overwhelming isnt ???? I think thats half the battle...understanding what the heck you must buy. Like others have suggested, i bought a couple of diff branded MCN and diff types. I also spoke to the salesperson over the phone and asked all sorts of silly questions.......
MCN were not for me - ive since given my stash away, but i felt happy with the selection of nappies i did have, and felt i gave it my best shot....guess what im saying is, dont stick to one brand, explore, then decide what works for you and bub.

Try a couple from each different sort of nappy. And don't forget your DH. My DH is not around much, but if his fav MCNs are not in the pile he grabs a sposie! (He much prefers velcro to snaps).
It's trial an error, and don't over look plain old cotton prefolds. They are very reasonably priced and I find them very handy to have around.
    Good Luck.
