I use AI2's - cos the shells dry really quickly and the boosters can go in the dryer if needed.
I have OSFM's (dragonfly magik) that I can use on both girls.. and I have sized Widdlewuns for DD1 because I find they are more absorbent to hold her huge wees. DD2 isn't as big a wetter as her older sister, so the DM's are perfect for her
I will say that I love the sizing of the Widdlewuns though, mediums are like from 7-14kg or something, so it covers a HUGE proportion of their time in nappies. So if you do get sized, get ones that have a good margin on them for weight ETA: DD1 has only just moved into a large and she's 2. And its only the rise that she has outgrown unfortunately!
i have a bbh multi fit and find its great. i still get the occassional leak but thats only if DS decides to have a really good wee or not with it on. it is huge on him tho lol. have you tried looking at second hand mcn's to try first? that way you aren't outlaying too much of a cost and if you dont like them you can always sell them on. also you only then need to buy a couple of different types and see how you go.
i also have a bumg mulitfit which came with a microfibre insert but i just stuff that with a bamboo insert and i find it fits him the best. so does the haute which is microfibre too. again i just boost that with a bamboo insert. both of these are pockets tho. so is the bbh multifit.
They are an AI2 - so what Arimeh said about the shell & booster - by the time it comes out of the wash the shell is almost dry, & the booster can go in the dryer if need be.
(It has 2 boosters snapped in to each other) and then the main booster snaps into the shell.
It goes from newborn (well from approx 4kgs) to toilet training - fantastic.
It also has a seperate night time booster... it makes it a little bulky over night, but not too much
I bought 2 when I was pregnant (to see how they were) and ended up buying another 10 once DS was born & I had tried them out... they are magnificent!
DS is an extremely heavy wetter & we are yet to have a leakage. (Including the poo-splosions!).
I buy other nappies (mostly for the cute factor and the novelty, lol) but the pop ins are my everyday nappies. They're great
