Reccommended is 25 for full time use washing every 2 days...but to me thats alot of nappies....but better to have to many then not enough!

I find it also depends on bubs age.....the younger they are the more nappies you go through (well for me thats how it was!). Keep in mind some nappies take longer to dry as well so make sure you have a few spares to cover the longer drying times

I think ill have to wait for next couple of pays to get those (itti bitti). I have done some research on them. Highly recommended as well. They have a trial pack for $49.95.

    DD is 6 mths.

Are the BBH bamboo ones only good for night time use or can be used during the day too? One of the websites have them on sale for $18.75 (found it after i paid $20 each for them).

You are not alone in you bizzare MCN fetish Phoenix. My brain is baked on them too. Have spent days(literally) looking at them on the net. Went and bought my first BBH bamboo today (couldnt wait for trial pack to arriveincedently, ordered pack yesterday and recieved email saying they were sent today)
Must tell you, was impressed with quality, no dodgy stitching and wonderfully soft. I also saw Peapods at the same time and IMO there was no comparison.
If you are in bris area, I have found a shop that apparently sells heaps of the well known brands. I am going to visit on wed.
I dont think you will be dissapointed, it's lots of outlay, but they are sooo cute.
Just gotta wait for the little tacker to put in an appearance so we can use em

I think you'll be right for now We are coming into warmer weather and you won't need a winter buffer just yet. I refuse to use a dryer for nappies so I have about 40 odd for those days when it rains one after another.

Once you get into the swing of it you'll soon know if you need to get any more. The BBB's will take longer to dry than any of them.

I have... 36 nappies! 10 of which are kept in "reserve" jic I run out (eg nursery needs cloth because DS has nappy rash).

That's enough so that I wash twice a week or so and don't have to worry about drying, I usually get to 10 nappies then wash, I have 3-4 left in a wet winter when I can't hang out to dry and don't use the tumble dryer.

So two dozen is enough (I use 26 normally), find the nappy that you like and go with that.
