My dd has a genetic condition and is intellectually and physically delayed. Once she turns 5 we are entitled to govt funded nappies. The size we are getting is for 15-30kgs I think. What state are you in?
we are in Vic, and we are entitled to FACHSIA funding due to his autism spectrum diagnosis. I think I could use part of the funding towards nappies, but we are saving it for therapies as we have OT, speech & psychology, so it's a lot of $$ for private. Unless there is a different fund I can access for it?
We have that same funding, just called something different for genetic conditions, and used solely for therapies. The nappies are through MASS, medical aides subsidy scheme. They also supplied her home oxygen and helped with funding for a chair. I'm in qld though and unsure if they are Australia wide.
Yael, what about the adult sized continence pants? I'm thinking of the tiny little nana's in nursing homes who require continence aides. I think you can buy them at the supermarket, they're near the pads/tampons. They must come in small sizes, don't know how small though? I'm sure you can buy ones designed for overnight use which should be suitable for a heavy wetter.
