Pixie Poppits are my fave day nappy: suedecloth inner doesn't pill like microfleece, the pocket opening is not right at the back so inserts don't come out, and the fit is good for my chubby thighed, narrow-crotch darling. She's been in them since 3 months or so... Now she's 6 months and we've moved up a snap setting, legs and waist still fit well.
Bridie's a heavy wetter, so I generally use one of the microfibre inserts with a BBH bamboo insert behind it, which holds fine and is still trim. I don't think we've ever had a leak from them. (Haven't tried them overnight though.)
I just bought a few more of the hook-and-loop style for daycare - just like a sposie, they can't put it on wrong
