Foamy Wipes Wash ? any home-made recipes???

We've been using Foamy Wipes Wash on DS when changing him for months, but we seem to get through it far too quickly. I found out that DH was using 6 or more squirts per session. Now, I'm refusing to buy it, because using that much each time makes it far too expensive.

So I'm looking for an alternative. Does anyone know of any good home recipes to make up something similar that can be used in the foamy bottle?

    Thanks in advance!

I use warm water on my cloth wipes, but sometimes if its a particularly nasty poo, I will put a squirt of 1/4 bath wash & 3/4 water that I have in a pump bottle. I use organic bath wash and sometimes I use a weaker dilution.

I'd like something that foams up like the foamy wash. I've tried a few other recipes and they've all been too watery.

Gaia works well, that was the first one we used.

Thanks Christy and AJP! I worked on 3/4 water and 1/4 Gaia bath wash, but that was too concentrated, so I tipped that into a jar. I filled the bottle with half water and half of the solution, still too concentrated. So, now it's 2/3 water and 1/3 solution. Perfect. I added two drops of tea tree oil and four drops of lavender. Beautiful.

About to test it on DS now. Will let you know how it goes. If it works well, I'll refine it and post it back on here. THANKS!!!

    Okay... final batch

Fill foamy bottle with distilled water almost to top (leave about 2cm)
Combine 1 1/2 Tablespoons of Gaia Baby Bath/Wash
2 drops of Lavender essential oil
1 drops of Tea Tree essential oil

I don't own any, but I think a drop of baby oil would be nice too.

I only used one squirt on a cloth on a wet bum, so I couldn't imagine you'd need more than three on dirty bum.

Will go and buy some more essential oils to see what other fragrances I can come up with.

If anyone else comes up with a nice fragrance combination, let me know!!!

    Thanks girls!!!
