I'm rookie with the whole MCN business, though I know already that I prefer to use a liner of some sort to make the whole cleaning bit easier.
My question essentially, is what brand of liner do you use? The only ones I've tried are the Coles brand and I hate the way they tend to get...well, butt-munched for want of a better term!
I'm looking for something that stays in place, is flushable and preferably good for both environment and little bums.
Am I asking too much?
There's a brand 'eenee' that make flushable liners - you can get them online and in selcted (dare I say alternative) shops. Just google eenee to find them.
IKWYM about the coles ones, plus they're not flushable.
i know you said you want flushable ones, but I find the ones that stay in place the best are some simple microfleece ones. You can buy microfleece really cheap in places like spotlight, so if one is a real mess after a change, I just bin it! Otherwise I chuck it in with the nappies when they are being washed
I use microfleece liners when I need liners - they are easy and cheap. and you can cut them to fit your nappies properly.
A metre of fleece will cost you all of about $5.00.
Unfortunately there is no real way of stopping the butt munching (lol) but the longer you make them the less likely it is that they will get completely digested
I make my own liners. I buy a lenght of micro fleece from spotlight and then cut them down.
I also make larger squares out of the left over and use them as bum wash cloths too
Sasha - I got the eenee flushable ones off the Ittibitti site - I think they were about $8 for a pack of 50. I cut them in half too, and was we have previously discussed, I am pretty good at determining when Tom is going to do a number 2 so I only need one a day normally
