    LuluHB, i just noticed you asked about the pawpaw cream.

    when my child was in MCN, i researched paw paw creams and discovered the Lucas brand (red tub, red tube) DID have a petroleum base, but i found other paw paw salves and ointments (e.g Simmons, in the yellow tub or tube), that used a water base instead.
    Ah. Thanks Gigi. That's why my lip balm one is greasy then cos its the Lucas brand.

    I've tried all sorts of non-petroleum paw paw ointments in the past and actually I've found the Lucas to be the best by far in terms of calming and healing skin so I use this despite the petroleum base as I suspect it has a higher or more concentrated paw paw base than some others. But I use liners anyway and am not fazed by petroleum.

    There is black petro free Lucas one as well, as for the Aromababy I used the barrier balm hun.

    we use paw paw, but use a liner, or have nappy free time after applying.
