why would you buy nice undies and not those biege granny nickers?
Even here in Tassie if the day is nice enough I will let Ash wear his 'pretty fitteds' (usually his holden nappy or mirabai) and just change if it gets damp on the outside
Ok, ta everyone. I didn't realise you could use them without a cover. I was thinking of using some Bitti Boos if No.2 ever comes along and it seemed such a waste to cover them up.
I very rarely cover Charlottes fitteds. Mostly she has grown out of them now, but even at they hight of use I only had, and still only have 4 Maz covers and I TB PUL cover and 2 fleece covers...For about 35 fitteds (and I wash both most of the time)
But I just found that if we werent going out anywhere there was no need to cover them.
She rarely wears pants here in Perth anyway, it is way too hot! So yeah, I see a lot of value in pretty fitted!
I just dont own many because they arent the most cost effective for us - we are AIOs (AI2s) all the way here
I love the look of a big stack of different coloured fitteds on the shelf. My plain ones (flats and prefolds) live in the nappy stacker in the wardrobe but the colourful ones are all out on display.
I have an extreme heavy wetter!!! So it's fitted's for me all the way. On a warm day I never put a cover on DS's fitted's and if it's cold and I'm putting some pants on him then i'll put a soaker over the top. So that is why fitted's need to be so pretty, and also why not!
