Almost 7mths and still no teeth?

My baby boy has still not cut a tooth yet, is their something I am doing wrong? All the other babies in his mothers group have toothy pegs... I give him rusks and he has all the symptoms of teething but the top gum feels harder than the bottom....

It shouldn't be too long now hun. There is no set time for the first tooth to come through. Most babies do get the first tooth at around the 6 month mark, but some babies are born with teeth and others don't get the first one until after their 1st birthday. They are all different! So there is no need to worry!

Don't stress some just don't cut their teeth for a while - DD1 didn't cut teeth until she was nearly one, and then cut four of them very quickly - and boy that was fun! But still had all the dribbling and chewing from about 6 months. My mum told me I also didn't get teeth until nearly 1 as well...

Cutting teeth is not a developmental milestone like sitting, crawling, walking, etc. My DS didn't get a tooth till he was about 11months and they came all out of order too. He started with one on the bottom and then got one on the top diagonally across, he looked a bit funny until more of them came through. And my DD is still all gums with no teeth in site.

Jaidan was 9.5 months when he got his first, then the next 2 weeks he got the other 3 and it was SOOO cute!
Ashton has only just got his top 2 as well, he got his bottom 2 at 7 months I think...
Enjoy that toothless grin, cos it looks so different when they have teeth (and with them comes the biting lol)

Puppies, my eldest child was 10mths before he got his first tooth, then they came pretty quickly after that. My next two got theirs at 9mths and 8mths, and my last baby was the only one to get them *on time* LOL. Teeth are one of those things that they will come when they come and it's nothing you are doing wrong or right that will help them along kwim? But rest assured that he will be doing just fine without them and it it wont stop him from eating anything.

Ooo something I'm excited abt lol
Monsta had been showing signs since 4months but 5months on, still nothing.
Its only early this week that I can finally see it peeping out! I'm really excited but at the same time dreading having to bf him with teeth
As pp said, don't worry too much unless its pass his 1st birthday!!
