Changing formular for Colic

Howdy All,

Me again!

Was at the doctors today for mine & Isabellas 6 week check up and the doctor has diagnosed Bella with colic and advised me to change her fomular from NAN HA to either NAN or S-26 as they make bubs less gassy.

Do I just switch her from her next feed or do I need to wean her from one to the other??

Does any one have any other remedies for Colic as I have been in tears the last few days as she is in so much pain and I cant do anything about it.

I use Infacol but they seem to not be doing anything now.

K suffered from colic badly when he was a newborn. I personally found 'Infant's Friend' to be the best to help with it. I tried Infacol too but didnt do anything.

You can just switch her from her next feed - hopefully it will help with the colic! I found with my babies that changing formulas helped.

You could try the bruers (sp?) stuff too - that worked better than infacol for DD.

Thanks Ladies - Im about to give her S-26 for her next feed and I pray that it does the trick! I just hope it doesnt make her costipated tho! One problem to the next is not what im after!
