    Unhappy colic nightmare

I took DS to my dr the other day and was told he has colic.
I am using brauers colic relief and if it doesn't make a difference in a week i have to go back to the drs and they will give him something stronger.

He cries/screams inconsolably for the majority of the day, the longest time being 2.5hrs and no matter what i have tried i am rarely unable to settle him, he ends up exhausting himself and falling asleep, then everytime i try to put him down he just screams and screams and we have to start all over again. Its so heart breaking to see him so upset and he gets hot and shaky. He rarely sleeps longer than an hour unless he is in my arms. Im at exhaustion point and am feeling quite down as i just dont know what else i can do.

    Does anyone have any idea's?

    Thanks in advance.

Being he is a month old, you can now try Infacol. You can get it in the chemist or some supermarkets. Its in a yellow box. We had such problems also with DD and when she hit 1 month old we tried the infacol. From that night she slept through and has ever since. It is great stuff! The brauers and infants friend didnt seem to work that good for her, but the Infacol turned her into a perfect baby.

Try Infants Friend. My little darling has colic problems too and I've found this works pretty well. My maternal child & health care nurse actual said to not bother with Infacol as she finds it doesn't work as well.

Not sure if that helps. Its about $9 from the chemist.

Infants Friend is excellent, was the only thing that worked for our DD
