I took my nearly 3mth old to the doctors the other day as she was having fevers, waking up in the night crying for NO reason, drooling, rosey cheeks and keeps chewing on her hands and was going off her bottle (as she is bottle fed)...her answer was that Jayde was teething...she showed me her bottom gum and said see that and I could see a raised area - she was like those are teeth teasing your little one...
AS I cant use bongela or anything apart from Panadol and Nurophn (not together lol) does anyone have any ideas???? could the doc be right????
Certainly sounds like teething symptoms to me. They may not necessarily break through her gum just yet, but may go up and down for a few months before they finally come up.
An amber teething necklace might be helpful, I'm pretty sure a few marketplace members on here sell them in their stores.
Oh awesome I might have to look into it, as the Doc said she might get teased for the next few months before they cut through but it definatly looks like teeth...
I also have crushed ice and put it in the Nuby teething mesh she is quite enjoying that...
Something else DD liked was chewing/sucking on a washer rinsed in cold water, or you could even rinse it and leave it in the freezer for a little while. Even though she is too young for food yet, I've heard some babies like sucking on a cold carrot (just have to watch they don't chew off little pieces of it, but with no teeth yet anyway she should be ok).
