Question first molars - can you remember them?

my little one has 3 (that i can see) first molars erupting and it is causing alot of sleep deprivation. i've been up since 3am this morning and am now at work for the day- its tough going. just wondering if anyone can tell me roughly how long they take to come through? can you remember how long (days/weeks?) it disturbed your little one's for? she is fine during the day, and goes down okay at bedtime, but wakes during the night and its so tough getting her back to sleep. i give her panadol now and then which seems to help, bonjella is out of the question as she'd have a fit with me trying to stick my finger in her gob.

just wondering how long i can expect this bout of sleeplessness to last?!!! hoping there is light at the end of the tunnel. i can see the whites of the teeth thru the gums, but they are just whites and are not actual teeth as yet.... wish it would hurry up!!

if anyone can remember their baby's first molars and how long it affected them i'd be very grateful...

Oh big . My DD just finished getting her four first premolars about 4 wks ago and has now moved onto her eye teeth! I feel like she's been teething for months. I think she has!
Hers took about 1 1/2-2 wks for all four to fully erupt and we had really horrific night sleeps too. On really bad nights (I mean 5+ wakes a night) I would dose her up on nurofen. It lasts longer than panadol and seems to work better for her than panadol does. She was a horror during the day sometimes too so that's when we gave her some panadol.
At the time she loved biting on wet washers and ice blocks (unopened in the plastic) and me.... I hope it gets better for you soon. I know the torture of teething, though I try to imagine what it's like for her HTH

Jacks took about 3 weeks to come thru we were one of the lucky people who had no problems with teething except for the back of his eye teeth but I strongly recomend teething tablets they allowed him to sleep and calmed him down heaps brilliant product

please please please tell me about these teething tablets - what is the brand?
i have found some on the internet, hyland's teething tablets, but they are a USA product and i'd have to get them sent in the mail..... hoping there is a product available here??!!

kellieem i guess i have thank my lucky stars she is generally in fine spirits during the day, its just at night we are awake for hours.... actually i should have just put on a dvd for her, it calms her down and takes her mind off her sore mouth, but i was worried it would become a middle of the night habit (as it has in the past)....
