Hmm good idea. What's available for babies?
My sister bought an asodophilus (sp?) from the health food shop that is made specially for babies.

    Losec causes wind?

Oh you can give her yoghurt too- lots of probiotics in that. DD loves her homemade yoghurt.

No, unfortunately not :-( we went to the GP today and he reckons it's tummy discomfort and wind caused by teething and reflux together. He suggested trying Pain Stop at bedtime but I'm not sure... anyone had any experience with that? I'm going to try upping the Losec by 0.5ml to see if that helps.

Reflux is generally an allergic symptom. Have you thought of investigating allergies? What are you and your partner allergic to? Does anyone in your family have asthma, eczema or other allergic symptoms? It's a journey - but worth it if she is struggling at this age

Hmm, is she on a losec suspension? Maybe try getting just the tablets and delivering it in a more effective way, my DD used to have tablets dispersed in a little water ( the less water the better as it created a stronger dilution) best to check with your doctor.

In regards to allergies, I'd definitely get her tested or try her on gluten free or dairy free diets. Xx hang in there!

Losec can cause wind and constipation. I had my DS2 on it for a few weeks and yes his reflux was better but he was constantly upset with wind and screaming in pain from being constipated. I made the choice to take him off the losec and eliminated dairy, eggs and a few other things from my diet. His reflux stayed under control as long as I stayed away from dairy and egg. His wind and constipation issues left as soon as I stopped the losec.

It turns out DS2 is anaphylactic to dairy and allergic to egg.

    Losec causes wind?

What about orange juice? I didn't have any for 3 days cause I had porridge for breaky instead of toast. I noticed she didn't get wind the following morning. Then I had toast and OJ again and she had wind again.
