Question Amber teething necklace- how often does you bub wear it?

    hi all

I just got my teething necklace for bubs and from what i have read it only needs to be taken off for water activities..

is it really safe to wear while bubs is sleeping?

im extremly paranoid ... it does have the cotton string so any force and it will snap but i dont know im just so paranoid... if anything was to happen i would never forgive myself

When does your bubs wear theirs?

We love ours! Hope you love yours too. Ds doesnt wear his to bed at night but wears it all day and even when swimming whoops
I have wanted to leave it on him all the time but DH wont let me. So I take it off before he has a bath and then it goes on as soon as he wakes in the morning! HTH Good luck xxx

    Baltic Amber teething Necklaces

    How does amber work
Baltic amber teething necklaces are made to be worn by teething children to provide them with natural pain relief from teething symptoms, they are ideal for both boys and girls to wear.

you can get them from [link removed. Please refer to forum guidelines] - there's a bit about it in the teething relief sticky.

I've been thinking about getting one to try, but I'm pretty sceptical - has anyone who is using them convinced that they work? Or are you all dosing your bubs with other stuff too, so can't really tell?

I want one anyway cos they're pretty, but need to convince my hubby that they'll work first!

MJ wears hers all day everyday and is only taken off for bath time and swimming.
We forgot to put it back on one night and didnt we know about it!!! MJ doent have panadol, but gets bonjella if really sore and rubbing cheeks and puling ears etc etc

She has never played with hers either and we tuck it under her singlets etc so it cant get caught on anything

ETA - be careful of the cheap ones, they are not baltic amber, so will not work - read up one baltic amber first... the ones from amberbebe come with an amber certificate etc

We only very rarely give him panadol and its before he goes to bed cuase he doesnt have the necklace on!

We wear to bed - the CC took it off him for some reason and he wasn't wearing it for 3 days - didn't we know it! The molars came through with no pain relief ... same with the eye teeth ... everyone now knows its his.

We also wear it for showers.

Caeleb wears his only during the day. He wears it for day sleeps. It does suggest that they can be worn full time, but wold you really want to take the risk?

I got mine from Ebay too. I hope it's authentic...

I still don't get how they work! Anyone able to explain it? I had thought maybe they chewed on them or something, but seems like they just wear it...?
