Hi Razzberry, did your doctor give you an answer to why she was refluxing, even though there were no structural problems? (glad there are no structural problems for your daughter)
we have had an interesting update. Jasmine has been coughing all night, every night. I rang health direct and managed to speak to a gp. She could hear my daughter coughing. she said due to her only coughing in the night, and not at all in the day, she could have asthma as well. she then asked if she has food allergies as reflux, allergies and asthma can all be related!. She said if it wasn't asthma it could be nasal drip causing her coughing. (we just assumed all the coughing was due to reflux, which it has been a fair amount of the time, but its getting worse). but the reflux could now be causing asthma
Jasmines still on the soy free/dairy free diet, but we haven't been able to reduce her losec to see if its working or not yet, as just before we switched to this new diet, we reduced the dose and she got bad symptoms again and its taking along time to get her ok again.
sometimes Jasmine will have spit in her mouth, like its a bad taste, then take it out with her fingers does your daughter do that too?
