DS had reflux, and was also very chucky. Retrospectively, i think DD also had silent reflux (no vomitting) but she was never diagnosed.
DS was medicated eventually, DD wasn't but there are other non-medication thingsyou can do. Both kids had dummies, and then gave them up between 4 and 6 months when the symptoms decreased. Me going on on no dairy diet helped. DS slept on me sitting up for months. Posture feeding, so they are sitting up more. Holding them upright after a feed. Smaller feeds more often..
Sounds like reflux. Have a look at the Reflux Infants Support Association website, Lots of good info and you can become a member and join the forums for support. We also have a FB page. I am a volunteer for them. Both my children have reflux, both presented very differently. May daughters reflux was silent thugh still spewed a bit at times. Mys son was a massive vomiter. The sooner babies start on medication the better (If it is def reflux that is) as the damage can be severe to their oesophagus, and create other issues like feeding aversions and the list goes on. Aso hard to break babies out of bad sleep patterns when all they are use to is screaming and crying and not sleeping very long. Thickener can help some babies, though it doesnt for alot, and will not help with the acid pain. Most docs want you to try mylanta or gaviscon first. If you dont have an understanding GP, get a referral to a paediatrician.
