Reflux formula on perscription

I know that if babies are proven lactose intolerant you can get a doctor to right a scipt for formula to get it cheaper what about reflux formula as it is soooo expensive.
You would think that would be the same if they are proven to have reflux.
I am paying $24 a tin

I'm not sure. It wasn't available on prescription when I used it anyway.
