Teeth - which ones come through first?

I noticed tonight while I was giving DD her bath that she has two hard lumps on each side of her bottom gum, but not in the centre of her mouth, more towards the side. Are these teeth coming up? I thought that the first teeth to come through were in the centre?
She has been grumpy today and screaming when I put her down for a sleep (I have hated sleep time today! ) and up until a day or so ago she was having quite runny poos about 3 or 4 times a day (normally she has one a day and they aren't quite so runny).

Could she be teething already? I dont know what else the lumps would be, just thought they were in a funny spot and they are quite large, I thought they would come straight up through the gum, not poke out from her gum if that makes sense. Going to visit the childhood nurse tomorrow afternoon just to get her weighed and measured for interests sake so I'll ask her then, but thought I would ask all you lovely BB ladies first as I don't have much faith in the nurse after the treatment I got at her 6-8 week checkup

    I'd say thats teeth!!!!!!!!!

    It depends on your bub.
Mostly, the bottom front ones come through first.
My little vampire, at 6 months, got her second top ones first (not the two front teeth, the next ones along), then got her two top, then her two bottoms.

I hope they don't cause her too much grief. Jazzy got 6 in a month, it was pure torture for us all! Have you got an amber teething necklace? We didn't have one until a few months ago but I'LL NEVER GO BACK! She got her molars without a real fuss, which was GREAT considering the dramas we'd had getting the other
