Exclamation Teething runny Bum!! what to feed??

Hi DS is 6mths and has had a pooy nappy every nappy change, always runny. I am 'assuming' it is to do with his teething - even though every thing i read says teething doesn't cause diarrheoa .

I am wondering what to feed him at the moment?? he is still drinking his milk, but he has had 3 little meals a day for the last month and seems to be waiting for them. Should i keep going on with normal foods or just stick to the milk?

Needs lots of fuilds if poos are runny, keep to simple foods like rice cereal and pears - generally safe.

He reacts badly to the rice cereal - always throws it up (not normally a puker) so will try and stick to some pears. What about banana or pumpkin??

Stewed pears/apple, sweet potato, pumpkin. Narnas can be a bit too much atm.

Hope that little tushie is better soon!

For any one interested - Took him to DR and they said not to worry about the runny bum unless he has blood in it, looks in lots of painwhen pooing or if it goes on for 7-10days. So oh well!!!

Asked about the teething/poo connection and he said no studies have gone into it as not too interesting to researchers so have to wait till future and maybe someone may do studies on it
