teething: how long for it to push through?

ok, so J-man has finally cut through one, maybe two little pearlers (he won't let mummy have a proper look!!) ... but just a tiny little pointy shard ...

how long does it take for it to come up the rest of the way?

how exciting starting to get toothy-pegs!

from my experience maybe a couple days but im also guessing each child is different and some teeth come up but go back down

hope it comes up soon so its less painful for Mr J (and you )

Just subbing my dd is getting her 3rd from the front first and its just a shard also and the other one came out but went back up so just want to see some answers

oh Z&A how frustrating when you see a tooth get excited then it goes back up

my DS1 had this happen once or twice, very frustrating!

Majority of the time though they come through within a couple days to a week roughly

p.s - im not looking forward to this as my DS2 is already teething its painfull enough already, DS1 was a fantastic teether

I'm not sure about the actual 'cutting', but DS' teeth took on average 3-4 weeks each from the start of symptoms.

Sams 1st has gone up and down 3 times so far. Hope its not like that for little J-man
