i personally like the darker colours than the lighter ones.
I'd go different than your DD.
*has the same dilemma for when I get Spock one* =P
My DD has had an amber necklace since she was a few months old, i think it is cognac colour. Trying to decide on colour for DS. I like the lighter colours more than the darker ones (cognac, honey). not sure whether to go same as DDs or different. DS is also slightly darker skin colouring than DD (both caucasian).
What do ya reckon?

I like the darker ones to, like cherry and green. Have you seen the milky yellow ones??
Someone once told me the lighter ones work better???? I am not sure if thats true.
I can't remember the color of Z's i think it was honey or similar, i think a little darker would look cute, but not the real deep cherry one... not sure that even makes sense
have you seen the 'rainbow' ones that combine 3 or 4 shades, for some reason i love those on boys (no justification at all for that) I wear Cognac, DD2wears Honey and DD1 chose her self a rainbow as she didnt have one as a baby.
I prefer the darker one with all the same colour beads. I think that would look great on your son.
Apparently the lighter colours work better. I have a cognac one for DD1 and a butterscotch (really light) one for DD2.
DS has the multi colored Unpolished which the lady told me was better than polished cause they haven't been rubbed at. I can't tell the difference
Apparently the milky-er colored have more Salycilic (sp) acid in them, which is the painkilling ingredient in them. DS were a milky yellow color.
The seemed to work for us.
The boys have honey and butterscotch unpolished. From experience id say the lighter colours work better we originally had cherry and it worked nowhere near as well

Different colours are meant to have differing properties; look it up or talk to a good seller and see if you can't get one that's good for his reflux too.
I will be back later... But the cognac and cherry are helpful with irritability and So often work well with teething.
Butter or milky is often said to be more effective, but it is just rarer.
Kylie is right regarding the raw, unpolished amber is better as it had not been modified and the succinic acid is in the top layers of the amber, which can be polished off to a degree...

DS has ones that alternate dark and light - cute as!
Lemon or butter is the best for colic or reflux issues, however if it is something anatomical or physical that needs fixing it won't be as effective.

*bump*
Would an amber bracelet or anklet work as well as a necklace?
Thanks!
I have heard the lighter and creamier the more effective they are and recently heard unpolished is even more effective!
