thanks for all your replies, it's great, I have had a look at the sites mentioned on here and I reckon for the sake of $40 or so I will give it a go, can't hurt and if it works then great.

it didn't really do anything much for our DS but i definitely think it was worth a shot.
he wore his from about 5 months i think & we only took it off for swimming. it was a real conversation started though - so many people commented on it.
