DD2 often had probs sleeping lying down. She had reflux and often had a bunged up nose too. I think the reflux can cause tummy pain and the stuffy nose meant she couldn't breath. So sleeping lying down was more than she could bear.
In your situation, I'd try holding her to sleep then transferring her to her pram (in upright position). Sit next to her just before she's about to wake up and see if she stirs see if you can pat her back to sleep.
The only things I can suggest that haven't been mentioned already:
Try wrapping her in muslin or whatever you use, and then popping her in the sling/carrier (what do you use?) if possible. Obviously making sure she's safe. Once she's asleep, the transfer from carrier to bed/cot shouldn't be as noticeable for her. Used to do this with DD.
Do you have a white noise app or anything like that? DD has some sleep music we play really low in her room and also while we put her to sleep that seems to help.
you poor thing. I've been there too and you really can't see a light at the end of it all. I found when it got really bad, just giving up and getting up was the only option. DH was a great support too. I so hope things turn around for you soon.
The last 2 nights have been a little better. Wed night she did several 40-min blocks and a couple of 1-hr ones and a 2-hr one. Thurs night (last night) was all 2-hr blocks as far as I can tell... I was a bit hazy with the times, can't remember them. I just know it was roughly 2-hourly. Fell asleep on the couch feeding her at 2:30ish though. I have no idea how long for. I was sitting upright and she was lying on a pillow across my lap in the crook of my arm also asleep. Feel pretty exhausted still but that's cause I've just woken up. Give me an hour or 2, a shower and some coffee and I might be right. Thanks for asking xxx
