DS most of the time will not 'transfer' from the car/pram to his cot if he has fallen asleep. He will wake up, start screaming, be very difficult to settle and when he does calm down, he is fully awake and thinks he has had his full sleep!

This is a real bummer, as he is so hard to get to sleep, that I quite often resort to the car or pram to get him off to sleep (only during the day).

It would be so much better if I could move him into his cot once asleep (I worry about him sleeping in the car - his neck is on a funny angle, is it bad to sleep 'sitting', sometimes it gets hot or cold, I'd be able to relax more when he is asleep etc etc).

Does anyone have any good tricks of the trade on how to move them into the cot? Any things they have learnt that help them do it successfully. I realise that its probably just baby dependent, but every now and then I try it again (usually with no success)...
