Trillian, thanks, I think I will just play it by ear and if co-sleeping works for us I'll look at getting a side rail.
Charlotte, your DS sounds much the same as DD. First morning nap is fine but after that she doesn't want to be left alone. I like using the HAB cause she is happy and I can actually get some things done rather than spend the whole time in her room trying to settle her in the cot.
Well she's spent most the day in my arms now so will see how tonight goes. I'd be happy with even 3 hrs sleep atm.
I forgot to mention, DS still only goes 3-4hr between feeds, after i first put him down, then it can be 3-2.5 hrs between feeds after that for the rest of the evening. He sometimes joins us in bed on my side anytime after 4am. I don't trust DH he is also too deep a sleeper.
