Hi Anna - don't feel guilty .

Everything will be a bit of trial and error. And if you don't feel comfortable when you try new ways of doing things then don't - especially when bubs is still so new. If you don't mind cuddling to sleep then do it. There were heaps of times where I just cuddled DS to sleep - and there are still times I do it now if he needs it (usually when he is overtired). In time you may feel more comfortable to try those new ways again, keep in mind that most new ways of doing things may take 2 or 3 days of training/perfecting (that's what happens with us anyway). Go with what your comfortable doing for now.

In regards to the feeding to sleep...I would always have to burp DS after a feed (as he was a chucker - occassionally still is), and I would usually find when I burped him over my shoulder he would still fall asleep....could you maybe do it this way? That way you get a burp, maybe a chuck, then she will fall asleep for you to lay her down - that worked for us anyway.
