    Unhappy help..loosing patience

DD2's sleep seems to be getting worse was one wake up from 4-7.5 months which was fine, then she got a series of ear infection and everything went pear shaped.
i feel i get one thing better and something else gets worse.
yesterday day sleeps were crap, last night sleep great
today day sleeps great so i thought tonight would be great too..wrong..down at 6.30 woke at 8.30 which is unusual to be this early, i think shes just going back to sleep now-90 mins later and lots of crying.
ive been reading elizabeth pantely's no cry sleep solution but its more aimed at feed to sleep issues not waking and needing a quick feed issues (or like tonights issues)
i guess im not asking for magical answers but im slowly loosing it here, getting very frustrated, sleep deprived etc...
i *think* she may be teething but we have no teeth so far, she had a very slight temp today which makes me think it may be another ear infection as this is ear infection behaviour...sigh...
someone make me feel better..! pleassssssssse!

I really don't have a lot of advicce, but I hope it improves soon. If it makes you feel any better, my DD was sleeping through and has started waking again in the night. once the tooth came through, she reverted back to sleeping through.
and like you, I also had a 3yo to contend with, so still had to get up early.

have you tried cosleeping? Didn't work here, as she would just pull my nose, touch my face, kick and laugh, but might work for you

10 months is a truly crapola age for sleep! Hate to say it babe, but we had a shocking time around then. It started getting better around 13-14 months. It seems forever away I know. But somehow you cope. I don't really remember how, but you do. for you that it doesn't last that long!

After moaning about pregnancy & sleep deprivation waaaay too much, a 3rd is off the cards for us - DH can't take it that I can't take it ITMS.. and I think he's serious. So in case yours is like mine, breathe, push through, and moan to us if you need to get it out... remember that this too shall pass. Meanwhile I'd take her to the doc if you think she has an ear infection.

Hang in there, it soooooo sucks, but it *is* temporary. Can you get your oldest minded and catch a nap once or twice a week? My eldest is refusing to go down for a day sleep anymore, so I set him up with the computer (heaps of pre-school online games they can play) or a DVD and catch a few ZzZzZz's with the baby on the couch when I'm really desperate for some shut eye. I feel a hundred times better when I wake up, even if I only get an hour or so.

I don't know if this will make you feel any better, but I know what you're going through. My DD suffers with ear infections and only in the past 4ish months has stopped waking 2-3 times a night (most nights, some nights are still bad). I know the frustration of sleep issues. Big hugs sweets!!
