Pixie: sounds like you have a very stubborn little girl! We have been down to 2 naps for a while now and I found that it was somthing that DD set herself. It all depended what time she woke up for the day. If she woke up at 6am, I knew that she would have 3 naps, but if she woke up at 6:30, I knew that she would have only 2 sleeps (it's amazing how that little difference wake up time structured our day).
DD would absolutley refuse to go to sleep after 4pm and I mean screaming, crying, wriggling...you name it I got it, so I stopped trying. She would be very tired by bed time, which was 7 (now more 7:30), but she wanted to stay up so I let her.
So, after all that...my sugesstion is, if she still wants those 3 naps, let her. You will find one day that she will drop that last sleep when she is ready (she will stay up just that little bit longer between sleeps).
