My DD was in our bedroom until she was almost 2.5years old ... her 1st 9mths she was in her bassinette next to my side of the bed ... then her cot in the corner of our room until 2years of age but she ended up in our bed mostly every night & there after until she was nearly 2.5.

I loved her next to me in our bed every night & especially when she awoke in the morning kissing me & all the cuddles ... i loved that her face was the 1st thing i saw when i awoke each morning ... it just got hard as she got bigger and sleeping for me meant not as much room in the bed.

Only thing i would have changed is that i would have started to put her in her bed in her own room a few months earlier (maybe at 2)

Having said that i just so still love her in my bed at times
