    My Little Bed

    Anyone own one of these?

    My Little Bed

    Would you recommend it?

I'm looking for something that will allow us to co-sleep safely with our baby.

    Thanks!

    Hi shoegal!

Great choice about co sleeping! It is another wonderful way to bond with bubs!

We never used one but i am thinking i might next time! you can also get the cot that goes up to the side of your bed which looks great too!

Best of luck with your co sleeping journey xx

Thanks Boomba, but we simply don't have the room so I was looking for something that could go in our bed.

    Thanks for you post!

    Hey hunny!

Don't buy one, you can borrow ours! We bought one, but didn't use it a great deal. But only because L had reflux so she really needed everything she slept in elevated which was a little tricky to do with something like that...
    It's very cute though!

    Let me know

ETA..At least then if don't like it then you haven't wasted any money.

shoegal- we bought one and tbh, we used it for a week and hated it.it took up a lot more room in the bed than what it looks like so dp and i both found it really hard to get comfy. also, you can't breastfeed through it as it has quite hard sides so i had to keep getting ds out of it to breastfeed anyway. it was very annoying!
one of the arms reach beds would be much much better if you could squeeze it in.

    I have this one
The First Years Close & Secure Sleeper at Toys OnLine Australia

I didn't use it as often as I thought I would as I still prefered my DD to go on her monitor on her cot. but it was great for day sleeps in the lounge and when we went to peoples places.. I would look on ebay and not buy brand new. I do not think they are worth the money brand new.. I paid $30 for mine and that included postage..

As for on the bed.. I wasn't able to get comfy as my DD wanted to sleep cuddled up and this just wasn't possible.. Oh and mine has a little light which is something thats good..

I also noticed how old your bub is.. I don't know how much use you would get from one now.. Depends on how much bub moves..

Lee - thanks hun! But you might need it for your new munchkin! Would you mind measuring it for me if that's okay?

Rainforest - thanks for your feedback, I really appreciate it.

Nic - thanks hun, I too like DS on his monitor. I tend to freak a bit about waking up and him not breathing, *sigh*.....hmm, wonder if I can put his monitor under him in our bed somehow??

Will measure it tomorrow no probs! as it's in L's room at the moment. You are most welcome to use it! I think Baxter will probably be almost too big for it anyway by the time we needed it, but I'm not worried in the slightest if you guys are still using it. Our bed isn't really big enough, with DH in it too

I'll investigate what postage might cost, just to get a rough idea in case you aren't coming up for a while.

    Ok roughly!..
The width of the widest part, which is the top part around the head, is almost 40 cm.

You might also want to know about the tiny mattrice in it, this measures about 72cm long.
