At that age DS would not sleep when tired, only when absolutely, completely shattered beyond belief. So he dropped a sleep and I just learned to wait till he literally could not hold his head up any more, then would take him for a walk.
Thanks Marcellus, I'm thinking the same about DD. It seems that she has to be sooooooo buggered to go over at the moment. I'm trying to roll with her punches but she's a handful and I'm feeling quite burnt out at the moment. We got out for a huge walk this morning though, which was good for me - and of course good for her. I've realised too that I haven't been looking after myself as well as I could which is probably contributing to being so frayed around the edges and vice versa.
Today is a brand new day
