Hi guys
Thanks. Can't do co-sleeping, sleeping in the same room is hard enough and she won't lay down in bed with us. My fear too is that it becomes a more permanent pattern, with her waking up just expecting a feed. We tried to resettle her a couple of times last night after 2 hour wakings. Once there was no way she was going to sleep and DH had been trying for 20mins. The 2nd was successful but only really dragged us out for another 1-1.hours putting us at the 3hour mark again :-(
Monnie - her day feeds actually aren't that bad though she had started the habit of pulling off a lot but still wanting more so constantly swapping sides. She also decided that talking with her mouth full of boob is fun - it is quite funny but makes the whole process take longer.
Anyone else tried resettling at night?
What time between feeds are you all experiencing during the day and what sort of sleeps? I was told that she should be doing 4 hours but that might only happen once if i am lucky, and that is only cause she has had a long sleep.
i just hope this all ends soon - i need sleep! Anything longer than 2 hours would be soooo great!
