    Wakes up screaming

Its been a long 5 weeks i have 4 kids and they have all been really sick the latest gastro and 6 months old bubs has had the spews and poos bad too, shes over it now just starting to get her on full strenth formula and solids, here is the problem for the last 4 weeks shes had chest infection ( antibiotics) and gastro and becouse shes been sick ive nursed her to sleep, every sleep day and night becouse shes been so sick it help her to feel better this way and i not unhappy about the anything to help but now shes better its like she has for gotten how to put her self to self.
Before she feel sick she was happy to put herself to sleep day or night not now it gotton to the stage at night im going for a drive to get her to sleep. During the night she will sleep for about 1hr-2hr then wake sceaming waving her arms to me to pick her up so i do so we cuddle and she fall back to sleep. Is she too young for nightmares ? Ive tried the control crying thing with all my kids i dont have the patience so i would keep them up till i knew the would sleep with out any probs but being the 4th i so tired i need to go to bed early to keep up with the rest. I up all night by the time i settle her i take time to get to sleep then shes up again.
Should i just wait it out ? in time it will get better i need sleep so bad it really affecting my relationship we are buggered. I know alot feel the same way i just thought there might be more i could do'

    Hey kittykat

if she is better, she will quickly learn again how to self settle...she may just need a gentle reminder....as another option perhaps go to her when she is crying but rather than pick her up maybe place a soft hand on her back/tummy until she settles...it does not help that you have also been unwell, and have another 3 to care for

I hope it gets better for you soon

    xx yogababy

ps i really like your kiddies names
