want to stop co sleeping

I use to feed zac and place him in his cot to sleep. after he got sick he wanted to stay with me all the time. he is better but i can not get him to sleep back in his cot at all. day or night he always wants to sleep in my bed. how do i get him back into his bed?

I am going through the same thing. My little man is 9 months and refuses to sleep in his cot at night. He will sleep in there during the day and when I first put him down at night but by 11pm he is awake and wants a feed but will not go back to his cot :'( I like to lie down and feed at night so we both generally fall asleep doing that but he wakes me up all night kicking and rolling over...sooo frustrating. I hope someone has some ideas!!. I heard someone suggest before putting the cot next to your bed with the side rail down and putting them in there....might try that?

You could also try putting one of your unwashed shirts in with them, but not too close, so they can 'smell' you.
