I am sure this topic has been covered many times before but as a 39 year old trying to get pregnant for the first time I was wondering how many other first time mums are my age or older and has it been a problem. My gynocologist has told me all the risks that can happen as a worse case scenario but because I am healthy she predicts there should be no problems. I was just wondering with the IVF aspect as I know the chance of success declines with age and I wonder how many older mums have had successful pregnancies.
