hey i was just wondering how old u guys are/were when u TTC #1 and how long it took/is taking to get a

... was just thinking maybe coz i am young i might have an easier time idn lol positive thinking... ahh i'm just so desperate, its strange, all those little nigglings in the belly, could it be lol probably just my mind being cruel damn it...

Hi Noni*e - I was 27 when TTC last time (9 years ago) and it took us 7 months of actively trying, an african fertility doll and some Chinese herbs to get there in the end. However, when I look back, I can see that our DD came through at exactly the right time for us, we had a very big year the year she was born, and if I'd got pregnant when we first tried it would have been a disaster for us. So, while I hope you get your

soon, remember, that little bubba will come through when the time is right!!

I was 21 when we started TTC our first, and it took 14 months for us to become PG. We never used birth control after she was born, and I became pregnant with our second DD when the first was 21 months.

I was 29 when I fell pregnant with Shelby. We weren't actively TTC, as my DP puts it we were "practicing" We only "practiced" for 1 cycle before we got a BFP.

When Shelby turned 5 months old we decided to TTC #2, again it only took the one cycle to get a BFP with our angel Max. Hopefully when we decide to TTC again it will only take the one cycle again.

We started TTC when we were both 23 and it took 26months to fall pregnant, although we do have fertility issues. This time round we were both 26 when we started & are about to start month number 10.

We started at 22, are now 24 and still no BFP. Like Sarah, we have fertility issues - both of us are considered "subfertile". Have had 8 months worth of treatments... still no BFP.

I am 21 and DP is 25 and we started TTC 3 cycles ago.. No BFP yet but hopefully it wont be too much longer!!

I'm with you there Poppy... can't believe we ever bothered w/ contraception!!

We also went through a stage of not really trying to prevent, but not trying seriously to achieve... it lasted about 9 months, and then we realised maybe the whole pregnancy thing might take longer than we had bargained for to happen, so we started trying seriously.

Im 25 and stopped the pill feb last year started actively TTC in April this year and we got a BFP last week due in July.. But remember everyone is different.. I hope you get a BFP very soon.. Oh and I ended up temping as my cycle lengths were all over the place and it worked first go...

I'm 25, was on the Pill until August 2005 then came off and DH used condoms almost all the time until Easter (doing cycle tracking sometimes), when he got bored of them (or decided to TTC without telling me!) and so I got pregnant the cycle after he stopped buying condoms - we knew we'd missed the eggie the cycle he stopped using them.

I was a bit surprised to fall so easily, I thought it would take months of trying! It's fab, but quite a bit unexpected.

I was 26 when we started and DH was 32 - we've been trying for 22 months and counting! We've had all the tests done and there is no medical reason why we can't get pregnant - our specialists says we're just one of the unlucky ones!
