I know that when you have an anovulatory cycle that eventually there is some sort of bleed. Is it assumed that this bleed is nothing like a normal period?
I am not sure if I have been ovulating since coming off the pill in November, but I have been reading up on anovulatory cycles and the general concensus is that the next bleed is very light and nothing like a standard period. My periods have still been the same, fairly heavy and quite clotty (sorry TMI) so I am wondering whether I am actually ovulating but just having very long cycles.
I ovulate some months and not others. For me my cycles are no different and my AF is exactly the same. The only difference is my AF usually comes a day earlier then it normally would. Having normal periods, normal cycles doesn't mean you are ovulating and likewise having long cycles or infrequent cycles doesn't mean your not ovulating. Have you had any BT's to tell if your ovulating? Just wondering how you know or are you sure your not?
No the bleed is the same. Many women have regular periods and then find out they have not been ovulating.
The only way to tell for sure is to have a BT or to chart your temperature. (Fertility Friend has excellent charting software, click on the link to my chart in my sig to check it out)
