Would you shy off TTC for a month after a dose of antibiotics?

Background - diagnosed with giardia (), DH and I given a one-off dose of Fasigyn. Taken last Wednesday (as in 9 days ago, and giardia now gone). Classified as Cat B drug. Dr suggested we don't TTC this month as "not enough studies done" into the Fasigyn and conception. It is recommended not to have Fasigyn in first trimester though.

So wouldn't you know ... even though my cycle is still totally of whack (stopped BFing 3 wks ago), I know I'm on the cusp of ovulating. Grrrr.

Common sense tells me to hang off (besides, if we were fortunate enough to conceive and have a H&H pg, it would put EDD right on Christmas - plus my b'day and DS's b'day is December) ... but the evil little TCC fairy sitting on my shoulder is saying "do it, you know you want to".

Common sense will no doubt prevail - I don't really want to risk having issues if we did conceive. But goodness me I just want to have a go.
