Question Anyone know what this could be?

    Hi all,

I'm only new to this and was hoping to get some advice.

I stopped taking bcp on the 24th may and got my period (or have seen it referred to as withdrawal bleed) on the 27th May. Went about life as per normal (BD, on numerous occasions, hoping I may get pregnant first month off the pill) and was expecting my next AF around the 25th June. My cycles have been known to be irregular. This day came and went and nothing! Did a HPT thinking maybe pregnant but no! Thought I'd keep waiting. Around the 10th July did another test still BFN. During the next few weeks started feeling really dizzy, tired and flat and were experiencing twinges in my side. This eventually passed. Then last Wednesday I started spotting (thinking finally my AF is coming) but to no avail I have continued spotting sometimes with small stringy like clots (sorry for tmi). On Wednesday this week I started bleeding properly thinking AF had arrived, but it only last half a day if that. I am still experiencing slight spotting. Have taken another HPT but still BFN. Can anyone shed some light on my situation? Have doctor's appt booked, but can't get in until the 21st of this month.

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I'm not sure what's going on, but it could be your body still adjusting after coming of the BCP. Lots of people have really weird cycles and symptoms for quite some time after going off the pill.

Good luck and I hope your Dr is able to give you some answers

it can take some ppl months to regulate after being on the pill especially if they were on it for years!
See your gp if your worried! good luck with your ttc!

I agree with the others. Very likely just your body adjusting after stopping the pill. I hope things settle down for you soon.
