Hello everyone! Me and my hubby have been trying to conceive since jan and i went to 2 different naturopaths now, but still disappointment one after another. So, i am just wondering has anyone been to antonia ruhl recently? I would like to gather some feedbacks from you all....i read quite a few threads about her but they are quite old....
I went to Antonia back in 2006, i fell pregnant after 4 cycles with her. I saw her during the pg and after. I am still seeing her for prenatal care even now as im 19wks pg.
Firstly you have to believe in what she does, I suggest you go to her website and read about her. You should have an initial consultation to meet her and see what advice she gives you regarding your situation and possible treatment before you make your mind up as to weather you want to start her program. She did wonders for me, and for a few people I know, I trust her immensley and go to her for routine health advice as opposed to a GP. But i think you need to meet her to make your own assessment.
Im happy to answer your questions and give you more advice, if you want to know anything specifically.
I agree with Lisa re makign your own assessment. I went to her and she made no false promises and what she was doing and saying did not really give me alot of confidence she could help me so I did not go back. so go see her and just see what you think and what she says about you in particular. It was my feeling she did not have a "one size fits all" solution so you may get a feeling whether she can help you or not.

i made an apppointment today and maybe things have change these years, the receptionist told me that my first consultation will be with Lia and apparently Antonia does all the follow-ups. the second naturopath that im seeing said that hopefully ill get pregnant before dec, i have been with him for 2 months now but the problem is he is overseas for few months, and i cant ask him questions when i needs to. which sometimes make me lost!
Lisa, you are a champion! REason why? a lot of the times when i was disappointed and down, after reading ur threads about antonia, i felt like i have hopes! So, how many bubbies you've got right now?
Anney, do you mind telling me whats the reason you didnt go back to see her? what makes you to not have confidence in her?
Anney is right, she doesnt have a one size fits all approach and she is very different in her approach and methods, she will do alot of energy healing. Lia is good too but dont make any decisions until you see Antonia, and tell Lia that too. As for me I have a 2 year old and Im almost half way with a new pregnancy (which was a complete suprise). My first pg was ectopic, lost my right tube, my second ended in miscarriage. So for me it was a matter of getting help with making sure the bub is in the right place and it being sticky for 9 months. I havent told Antonia yet, but im going to ask her to be my birth partner (DH's - well mine anyway - are useless during labour!) for this bub.

i cant wait for it and do pray that Antonia can help me with my issue. According to michelle, i wont be seeing Antonia 2 weeks after i see Lia, which is a shame. A lot of the times, i really feel sad bcos friends around me are either pregnant or are mums. whereas for me, im still not pregnant.....
How funny!! My appointment isn?t til the afternoon though otherwise we could have met up for coffee! I know how you feel about the whole waiting game, I went through all of those emotions, and its completely normal. Once you have that bub safely in your belly, all of that will fade away and can enjoy ?your turn? at motherhood. You have to keep positive and believe that your turn will be soon. I?ll be keeping my fingers crossed for you and please let me know how your appointment goes
Such a coincidence!!! I was wanting to see her on 2/11 but unfortunately they dont open on that day, also i have a day off that day! i normally start work late on mon, thats why i have to see her in the morning. or else, we can also still meet up for coffees!
So, are you excited with ur current pregnancy? how many bubs you planning to have?
Too funny, I was actually hoping to go in on the 2nd but couldnt because they are having an extra long weekend! Yes im excited but having a little tot to run around after has meant this pregnancy is going very quickly and im not getting enough belly rubs and talks with baby. I think i want 3 but not sure, wont know til I see how go with 2!

I went there as I was 43 and could not get pregnant. I had heard of alot of people that had been to her and they all said she told them confidently that she could help them get pregnant. She didn't ever say that to me. she did not say outright that she could not help but she did not say she could get me pregnant, even though she did have some older ladies going to her. I am not much into alternative medicine either.
So I just didn't feel she was for me plus the whole going into the city thing was really inconvenient as I already had a child I needed to get minded.
but I hope she can help you. It certainly won't hurt and you need to know you have tried everything. good luck

I went in this morning and it cost me a fortune! I was shock with the price!This better works for me....
Antonia came into the room towards the end of the session with Lia, she told me not to think about pregnancy the next 4 months, lets focus to rebalance ur hormones. In the past few threads, ppl said that she will tell you how long she will get you pregnant. so, im just wondering, does or will she tell you in the first session with her or the very first session with Lia, like me today? Because, she didnt tell me how long ill be expecting myself to be pregnant...im quite concerned..
Also, i dint expect to see Lia as well during the following consultation, but they said i need to go to see her next week and Antonia the week after. Hmm....be honest, i am not very confident with Lia though...i dont meant to be rude. And i couldnt ask antonia while LIa was there, on whether do i really need to see Lia at the same time. If im seeing both of them, it is really going to cost me a fortune!
Hi - i missed my appointment so im going next Monday.
Id expect that you will be pregnant after four months, as it appears thats how long Antonia thinks your body needs in order to be fully balanced and energised to be able to carry a child. With regard to seeing Lia and Antonia, i really think you should bring it up at your next appointment, even if your seeing Lia just ask her why you need to see both of them, and if it is a matter of cost, then be upfront, Antonia will do her best to work around your needs if you tell her how you feel.
The first consultation is always the most expensive, and you can always ask for a payment plan, lots of people do.
THe main thing is that she has not promised you anything and has told you how long it will take for your body to be ready. Now its up to you weather you want to take that chance. I got pregnant on my fourth month too.
Im going to see Antonia from nowonwards, rang her this arvo. im seeing her on tuesday. Yeah, i bought the herbs from her...there are 3 types of it..they were REALLY expensive. I am going to ask her on tues as how long it will take me to get pregnant. I felt so bad for spending lots on monday..Hahhahaa
Oh good darls, im glad you rang and do ask her questions, its important you feel comfy with her. Just think when your holding your newborn child that it would have been money well spent
Yes DH took the blood tonic and capsules. But we only needed one course of the herbs as we were pg on the 4th month (from memory they are a 3 month supply).
Im going well this pg. I had an appt with her on Monday. I had some energy work done and felt really revived afterwards. Otherwise all going well
Hi Lisa! this is the 2nd month im seeing antonia, but my period is delayed (Not pregnant). im day 40 of my cycle, and according to my specialist, i didnt ovulate. i even did the progesterone blood test twice, and it came back -ve. (im seeing a specialist in the mean time to get my levels checked.) i am a bit disappointing, and im seeing antonia, so i was and am hoping that she can fix my problem...as she had so many good testimonials. she again affirmed me that i will have babies! But when this happens, im not sure whether i should believe her?!
i dont know what is my body doing. she said she will give me some capsules to start my period, but she said it might take few days, few weeks or even 1 month. As you guys might know, she is VERY expensive......so........what should i do?! i feel like crying and very uspet! my hubby's test came back normal............
