Im here, Im here!! Sorry it took me so long to get here, im now on day 10 so only 4 more days till testing time and im getting nervous, i had bfn at day 3,5 and 7, i know i should not test early, but i was feeling ill, turned out i caught the virus my kids had.

Im trying to talk myself out of expecting a bfp, so i can be really suprised if i do get one.

Hiya MissyMooMoo,

In my case i was given pregnyl to make me ovulate. I usually ovulate on my own but since the fert clinic is closed over xmas i needed to ovulate before the 21st dec to get a FET in before xmas. i was running out of time so they gave me a pregnyl injection and i ovulated 36 hours later. the only problem is that it is made from the HcG hormone which means that POAS may give me a false positive.

Amanda, I have been on puregon, ovidrel and pregnyl this cycle. Have had the occassional feeling of nausea. Sore nipples for a couple of days after the pregnyl but not too many other side effects! The nurse told me to be careful when testing on hpt with the pregnyl as it can cause false positives, from what I have read in some other posts here the pregnyl can stay in your system for up to a week! I think it depends on the dose, I took my second shot today the doasge is 1500 which is why I am determined not to test until next Monday, my fs told me to do a hpt 15 days after my trigger shot which will be the 3rd of Jan but I would rather wait as I don't know if I can bear the thought of seeing a BFP and then have it disappear!
MissyMooMoo, In my case I took puregon injections to help me develop follicles, ovidrel to release the egg and then the puregon on day 4 and 8 after ovulation to offer support during the luteal phase (I think it has something to do with progresterone but I could be wrong!)

Candence, are you on an IVF cycle? I used purgeon during my down reg cycle and it made me overstimulated and i ended up in hospital . i had over 33 follies and they were able to retrieve 29 and fertilise 12 of those. I don't want to do a pee test either - my hubby and i would be devestated if i got a bfp on a pee test and then a bfn on the bt. I hope the injections don't give you as much grief as they give me.

Hey thanks Cadence, im really getting nervous now, with 4 days till testing im now convinced that im not pregnant. I have put so much time and energy in to getting to this point, i have already bought and used my hpt, i worked out that if i fall pregnant this cycle i will be due about 2 weeks before my sisters wedding, so thats not to bad really, is it? ahh, if i fall next cycle or any after i will be pregnant for my sisters wedding.

Im just exhusted now, xmas took it all out of me.

AFM- i am having sever nausea, which isnt normal for this stage of my cycle.. and i am having a slight pain/ache which is also not normal BUT, like we say...we are watching out bodies like clock work now so lol could be anything ha ha ha ha ha ha

Yes well, it has been a really busy xmas, i only really had time to kind of pop in and post in my thread then pop out out again, but now that its all over i have a bit more time, just sent the last 3 kids to bed, they stayed up to watch a movie, and now its me time, yay.
I have heaps of house work to catch up on, so hopefully that will take my mind of the next few days.

No I am not doing IVF just ovulation induction. I don't know if I could go through IVF. I am at the point of having a little break if this cycle fails. I feel that I am getting too caught up in it all and need to devote my time to my DD. My DH and I have discussed the idea of IVF but want to try to avoid it if we can (just don't know if I could get through it???).
MissyMooMoo, my best friend is the same, fell pregnant three times (had a mc the first time) and then went on to have two beautiful boys, she got pregnant straight off the pill both times. Everyone is different I guess. I really hope that it is just as easy for you this time, I would wish infertility on anyone. Hope that your nausea has subsided, I felt nauseous this afternoon too but I think it was because of the pregnyl.
Mumoffive- how exciting you are getting closer to testing, what a great way to start the new year. Glad to hear you are having some 'you' time.

Candence - Yeah IVF can be pretty crappy but we have no other choice if we want to get pregnant. My husband has problems with his swimmers and we have to have ICSI done. The worst part is the waiting and everyone who is TTC has to do that part so it's not much different. It is really hard not to get caught up in it all, especially since i'm on holidays at the moment and trying to take it easy but keep myself busy at the same time.

If you can avoid IVF i would - if nothing else, you'll save yourself some money!

Hey ladies, I think I am in the TWW....FF has not detected ovulation as I have been rubbish with my temps. This was my first cycle back since DS was born, so I don't really know how long it's going to be. All the other signs (CM, etc) indicated O around xmas day So I will probably wait to test until late next week.

Don't really have any symptoms, came down with a sore throat this morning and this arvo was having chills and aches and pains. My temp has been up around 37.7 all arvo and I feel awful. But I don't think they are preg symptoms! My cat is being extremely clingy to me which she used to do before I got AF before I was preg.

How is everyone doing today? I feel like im in a weird calm, i dont really feel like i have any preggy symptons, besides nausea, but i still have not had breakky, and how can your body have nausea, if the hcg level is not high enough to register on a hpt?
This is killing me, 3 more days, i just cant wait that long, i have no patience, im not good like that, think i will have to get more hpt.

Mumoffive it is getting so close to testing day, I have read about people getting symptoms really early so the nausea could mean something!
AFM I am feeling really under the weather, last night I couldn't sleep was having trouble breathing and had the shakes, just didn't feel right, am a little better today but still not 100 percent. I am hoping that the shakiness is just because I have used so much ventolin in the hope of helping my breathing! I was also thinking that this could be some reaction to the pregnyl I took yesterday but it didn't have this effect on me when I took it four days ago. Anyone have any ideas?
Hope all of you are getting through the 2ww quickly and are keeping busy. Really wanting to see some BFP's soon, I am not feeling confident myself (just a gut feeling) but wishing all you lovely ladies all the best.

Wow! This thread travels almost as fast as the TTC threads!!!

It sounds like a few of you are really struggling with this TWW - that's understandable! I'm actually doing really well this month but maybe it's just cause we've been so busy and will be busy for the next few weeks. I've got lots to organise and so much to look forward to that I haven't had much time to think about the TWW - and it's been so nice!!!

I'm on dpo6 and I'm feeling really good but doubtful about a BFP this month. We've had family staying with us and the Christmas break has been full on so we only got two BD sessions in during my fertile time We did reasonably well with the days though - cd13 and cd16 which according to FF, was the day I O'd. I guess I couldn't ask for much more than that but a few more sessions around the cd16 would have been helpful. Oh well.

I got cramping and O pain around cd16 (was great to finally really detect the O) and I had cramping last night (TMI alert but thought I was getting the runs) and today I have niggling pains in my ovaries. A couple of pimples have popped up on my chin too. Oh, I had a temp dip today too. Sounds promising hey, but this is what happened last month too so I'm not holding my breath.

Keep busy lovelies and make some awesome plans for NYE . Feel free to use my little plan for this week and that is to make it the best NYE ever and party like it's your last one before you find out your UTD!!! I'm hoping that will bring on lots of babydust as everyone seems to have a 'bender' then find out they're expecting, right? I've always been partial to reverse psychology!!

but we dtd around o time, which was 23, 25 and 26th dec.... so now im on the 2ww.... im so anxious 2 find out .. i done a hpt 2day but bfn... i think it is 2 early 2 tell....well i hope anyway

Lisa- i am feeling a little off actually. Sinus is aching, nose slightly runny, i am SO burnt on my arms/shoulder's from the beach yest... I keep having a "full" feeling in lower abdo, kinda like just before AFis gonna start, but a little different. Its weird. The nausea is annoying, and my sense of smell is really hightened.... I had a interview at work today with one of the manager's about a new role, i put on my 'good' perfume and i seriously think i have burnt my nostrals!!!!!! It doesnt affect me normally like this, but my sense of smell is just so strong right now.

I bent over to pull the bin out last night, OMG i was a bee's d away from vomitting everywhere, WAS really weird..So dont know if these are all signs.

OH and i have this headache that wont PO! So signs of pregnancy i dont know, BUT i am starting to find it hard SO SO hard NOT to POAS! lol This morning when i woke up at 6.50 to go to the toilet, i was so so so tempted to do a test BUT, i am proud, i resisted. After all i am only on 6DPO so the chance's of showing anything on a test is MINIMAL to say the least! lol

Lisa- i really hope this is it for you... (and me too) would be awesome to continue this journey together! LOL.. your hubby is sure one funny one. LOL @ re-tracting what he said... ha doesnt he realise he only need say it once and that is it, it is in STONE brother!!!! How are all your other kids? do they know your trying?

Taurean- Yep, we sure can talk in here. I dont post in the other TTC thread as i think cause i came in ages after, i just feel a bit odd in there... sounds silly i am sure but i really think even in the world of WWW friendship group's, it create's a circle and sometimes can be hard to jump into one already established. We are on the same TWW atm, 6DPO... when are you going to test ??? As for NYE, oh i am going to be sipping back some Ruby Riccodona..where or who with i am not sure lmao.. i know i will be with my 2 gorgeous kids and DF, but the rest is still being decided! What are your plans?

Amanda & Ann-- How you both feeling?

Ann i reckon it would of been the inhaler that made you shake. I have to use a puffer every now and then, as some medications give me asthma... when i was sick a few months ago the antibitoics i was on gave me bad asthma so i was using the inhaler CONSTANTLY, i ended up with the shakes BAD.. its all the adrenalin in the inhaler! YUK feeling... made me feel anxious!

Laranna- Welcome I really hope you get your bfp next week!

AFM- well, as i said above feeling kinda crappy atm, and this sense of smell thing is driving me insane!

2 more days until i test... i am expecting it to be a bfn BUT, it is stage one of a test i am doing. I want to see when is the earliest i can get a (god i cant wait to be able to use that symbol )

Anyone else hoping for a certain gender? I spose those of you who are trying for #1 you are going to just not care. We really really want a girl.... i even have her name all picked out and ready and waiting. Actually it has been waiting for about a year now lol So when we do fall i truly hope it is another little princess for us. Ofcourse if it is a boy then i will be happy and love him to bits, but i dunno... i just really want a girl!

Names- anyone picked or have a short list? or are we the only crazy ones who do this even before we have a bfp lmao

Savina- Welcome yeah i reckon if your o'd around those dates then you'd be hard pressing to get a HPT to show any positive result... give it until next week for sure. The little blighter needs times to implant and get all cosy... increasing those HCG levels high enough to be detected. I was reading today about HCG levels, and at 14DPO (on average) they are at 25ml (cause even though you may O it can take 6 to 12 DPO, to implant....so, when you think about it like that.... choosing when you test is so critical! Anywho, wishing you all the luck
