Before AF

This is a bit of TMI, but I'd love to hear any responses because it's beginning to worry me.

For the last few months, for about 3-4 days leading up to AF, I have an itchy feeling 'down there'. There is nothing else, it's just itchy . Then when I get AF, it gradually goes away.

I've never had this problem before, so not sure what it could mean??

Hi, havent really noticed if i get itchy at that time but maybe it's due to being a bit drier before AF? iykwim. Maybe there's a bit more friction due to lack of cm?

Hi gurnz,

What you describe is quite normal - lots of women, including me, get it.

It is the result of the hormonal changes altering the acid/alkaline balance down there which can make things feel a bit itchy. AF makes it go away because it is alkaline and restores the balance down there.
