A bit confused!

Hi everyone,
I am new to this site but thought there has to be other ladies out there experiencing what i am.
My husband & i are trying for a baby, we had sex on my most fertile day which was the 11/9/10 and my last period was on the 28th august. i have had (what i took as) implantaion bleeding inbetween these dates it lasted for one day and was very light & brown in colour, i was due for my period on saturday just gone (25/9/10) and am yet to get them, i have done some home tests but can not get a positive result. I am certain that i am but its all so confusing! Is anyone else or has anyone else gone through this?

Hi manda,
I am also pretty new to this site. Sounds like if you are PG, a home preg test would have shown by now. The best thing i can suggest is to have a blood test done, it's the only way to know for sure.

Hi, yeah i thougth to i googled why a test is not showing positive and there were a number of reasons one of them being my levels (if i am) are not at the level they need to be for a test to pick up yet. I will keep trying i guess

It depends when you ovulated and when you implanted....it takes a couple days for it too get in you're system and it show up on the pregnancy test...i would check in a couple days if you're period doesnt show up..good luck

I agree with Melster, It al depends on when implantation occoured. it may not show up for a while so just hang in there. I was using First responce early tests and it didnt show up until a few days after. It all depends on what kind of test you are using - some tests only go positive if there is a high level of HCG in your urine whereas some others read a very low level. If it still hasnt arrived in the next day or so i would def be going to the doc to get a blood test done - Ask for a beta HCG level test, That will tell you if you have any amount of HCG in your blood whereas the other blood test just gives you a positive or a negative.
