In a bit of a pickle

    Hi girls,
The last couple of months I skipped my period by not taking my sugar pills. The last time that we dtd was just before xmas. over the xmas period i had cramps and sore boobs. (TMI warning) the other day while i was in the shower i squeezed my BB and there is white in one and yellow in the other. I did a pregnancy test on sunday during the day and it came back negative. I got my period as per pill on tuesday but it is very weird - first day brownish, last nite it was like egg white with blood streaks thru it. nothing like my normal period. Could i be pregnant, I'm taking my pill still can this affect the pregnancy test? I don't know wat to do.

It's been a few days since you did a pregnancy test... try again, to put your mind at ease if nothing else
    Good luck

    Hi,
I'd definitely do another test. If you are concerned that you may be preg- I would suggest going off the pill until you are sure - just to be on the safe side.
I'm not sure what your views are on being pregnant at this time, but taking the pill when you have a BPF is not recommended.
Let us know what the outcome is. I hope you are ok with it either way....

    Thanks girls Tanya and Jellybean,

Well I did a pregnancy test this morning and it was negative - I might just go off the pill for the month, just to be on the safe side and may do another test in a couple of weeks. I just think it is so weird for me to have milk (even if it is a lil drop) as I stopped breastfeeding Luke just over a year ago.

Iona - it's possible to produce milk forever hun - my mum got severe mastitis when i (her youngest) was 12! and she'd never BF, so her milk came in, it dried up, and then 12 years later she has mastitis...

it may be your bodies way of saying that skipping periods is messing with things...

Thanks Briggsy's Girl and congratulations on your pregnancy, you're half way. I haven't been on here in ages.

I would just go and get a blood test to confirm.
