Its hard to know really. Even if you haven't had your af return, you could still be ovulating. But if your baby is exclusively BF then the chances are low that you could be pg. The only way to know would be to get a test and do it.
The statistics are that you are 98% safe from pg while bfing during the first 6 months only, and only if you are exclusively bfing (no formula or solids), are feeding at least once in the night, and have no AF yet. If you have all those conditions you would be unlikely to fall pg, but of course anything is possible!!
I got the depo needle, but when it ran out nearly 2 months ago I forgot to get the next one.
I'm exclusively bfing - pretty much every 2 - 3 hours through the day & at least twice through the night atm, so I'm pretty sure I'm safe - no AF yet, but you do ovulate about 2 weeks before you get AF, so there is a chance it will happen before AF even returns.
